Newsome's Farm Raised Beef

One of the components of the Newsome Farm is our commercial cow/calf and pasture raised beef operation, which focuses on providing high-quality beef sales. Our beef is USDA inspected beef, raised on the farm without antibiotics, added hormones, or animal by-products. Each cow that is used for slaughter is raised on Newsome Farm to ensure they are treated with care and that the correct precautions are taken for their preparation for consumption. The diets of our cows consist of mixed forages, fescue/orchard grass hay, and a supplemental grain mixture that begins approximately 60 days prior to animal harvest. This process guarantees tender, flavorful grass fed beef that is processed at a local USDA inspected facility. To better meet the needs of our customers, we offer meat by the quarter or by the pound. Buying meat by the quarter provides customers with a portion of each cut, while purchasing by the pound allows for customization of their order to fit individual needs.

Bulk - Quarter, Halves, or Whole Beef

Based on hanging weight, this measurement includes bones and beef after the hide and organs are removed. This is particularly relevant for those interested in grass fed beef and USDA inspected beef, as it provides a clear understanding of the product's weight for beef sales.

You can customize your order of grass fed beef if placed in advance of the harvest. Each quarter will include all cuts of meat such as steaks, roasts, and hamburger, ensuring you receive a variety of USDA inspected beef. Each quarter is approximately 100 pounds of meat, which is about $862.50.


Hamburger

All of our hamburgers feature a higher percentage of beef, focusing on quality grass fed beef rather than adding more fat filler. This means you get more USDA inspected beef for your buck, maximizing your beef sales!

Loose hamburger, made from USDA inspected beef, is available frozen in ~1 lb. portions, ensuring you enjoy quality grass fed beef with every purchase.
